Answer :- Archaeologists suggest the existence of social differences by studying different quantity and value of items found in different burial sites.
- For example, in one of the burials in Brahmagiri, archaeologists recovered thirty-three gold beads, two stone beads, four copper bangles and one conch shell,
- while there were only a few pots in some other surrounding graves. Thus, it was concluded that the first grave must have been of a chief or a rich person, while the others were the graves of ordinary men.
- The burials, therefore, indicate the existence of social differences among the people.
