Motion : Motion is the combined property of the observer and what being observed.

Distance : The longest path traversed by the object.

Displacement : The shortest path traversed by the object with specified direction.

Scalar : The physical quantity which has only magnitude.

                Eg : Distance

Vector : The physical quantity which has both magnitude and direction.

                Eg: Displacement

Odometer : The Instrument used for measuring the distance travelled by a wheeled vehicle.
Speedometer : The Instrument used to find the speed of a vehicle.
Uniform Motion : The motion of the body is said to be uniform when its velocity is constant
                           Or
When the body covers equal distance in equal interval of time is said to be uniform motion.
Non Uniform Motion : The motion of the body is said to be Non- uniform when its velocity is changing.
Acceleration : The rate of change of velocity of an object is called Acceleration.
Instantaneous Speed : The Speed at any instant is called Instantaneous Speed.
